An apostille is an international certification that confirms a U.S. public document’s authenticity so it can be used in a country that’s part of the Hague Apostille Convention.

If the destination country is in the Hague Convention, you need an apostille. If it’s not in the Convention, the document must be legalized (typically: notarize/certify → state/federal authentication → U.S. Department of State → destination country’s embassy/consulate). We handle both.

Because we’re local, we can hand-deliver and pick up at DC-based offices (and other regional agencies when available) instead of relying on mail in both directions. That typically cuts total time by about half compared to standard mail-in submissions. (Actual speed depends on the specific agency and document type.)
